Dr. Rasmussen has spent the majority of his career with Vance Thompson Vision. He is a current member of the American Optometric Association, the South Dakota Optometric Society, and the Nevada Optometric Physicians Association. Dedicated to helping patients achieve their best vision and eye health, Dr. Rasmussen is generous with his time and expertise. He is specifically trained to diagnose and facilitate treatment for disorders, diseases, and injuries to the eye.
Keith and wife, Sara, have four children. He grew up on a farm near Howard, SD, learning to hunt pheasants and waterfowl, fishing in Lake Thompson, and practicing shooting sports with his father. He continues these beloved activities today with his own children as often as possible.
Dr. Rasmussen is highly regarded in his field as an author and researcher. In the early 2000s, he conducted and published a study entitled An Epidemiological Overview of Pediatric Visual Impairment in the State of Oregon. Dr. Rasmussen continues to pursue research projects through his role at Vance Thompson Vision and has been part of more than 50 research studies during his time at Vance Thompson Vision.
