Meet Becky VanWinkle

Becky was inspired to join the medical field by her grandma, who worked in a local hospital. She planned to become a nurse anesthetist long before she learned to spell it, and after five years as an RN, she made her move to reach for her dream, first obtaining her masters then her doctorate.

Her work at Vance Thompson Vision makes her feel amazed at the ophthalmology space, where patients see improvements quickly after cataract surgery. Her goal, aside from expertly administering anesthesia, is to show patients kindness first and foremost.
