Dr. Rivet took her love for making a positive impact on the world and combined it with her skill in biology and medicine to become the optometrist she is today, having consistently received honors throughout her graduate studies in Chicago. Her knack for communication and building relationships makes patient education the focus of her practice.
In her externship with Georgia Eye Partners, she learned to co-manage surgical procedures and ocular disease treatments, fitted specialty contact lenses, and performed minor procedures. During her other two externships in Missouri and Illinois, she gained experience in co-management, as well as fitting several types of contact lenses.

In her free time, Samantha enjoys playing soccer, reading, and hiking, and volunteering at animal shelters. She also enjoys relaxing at a cabin by the lake in Hayward, WI, where she goes each year with her family.
