I had cataracts in both eyes removed and the refracted lenses placed. Everyone was very friendly, supportive, and informative. I had Dr Thompson who was great. I highly recommend Vance Thompson Vision for your eye care.

Kindness was shown by every employee I encountered. When I called the office to talk with accounts payable, the person named Sam was incredibly helpful. This person totally heard me out as I explained what I needed before cataract and lasix surgery. Sam took care of my question in a knowledgeable way. I am so impressed with this kindness in the handling of my situation. I will say that the aggressive fee/bill collection for payment, before the work is done is not acceptable in my view. A down payment is reasonable but full payment is not questionable. But, I compliment the employees at the clinic and Dr. Vance's friendliness and confidence in his work which is to the patient!

If anyone has any vision problems I recommend going to Vance Thompson Vision. They are friendly, caring and have all the best equipment for checking your eyes. I’m very happy with the procedure Dr. Thompson did on my eyes and wouldn’t consider going anywhere else.

After a lot of research, I made several 1000-mile trips to South Dakota because of the expertise and experience of Dr. Thompson and his staff. He probably has more experience than almost anyone in the country when it comes to cataract surgery, and recommended multi-focal lenses, and I am very happy with the results. I wouldn't go anywhere else, because they are the best.

Fantastic! I had a wonderful experience at Vance Thompson Vision with my LASIK eye surgery. All of my appointments were with knowledgeable, clear-communicators who explained the process of LASIK eye surgery very well. I was most impressed with how personable each staff member was, including Dr. Thompson. On surgery day, I was not anxious at all because of how calm and caring the staff was. In the surgery room before the surgery started, a tech walked me through each part of the procedure so they I knew exactly what to expect, which I really appreciated. My family was able to watch the surgery on a TV in a nearby room while a tech sat with them and explained the procedure. This was helpful to calm their anxieties as well! Overall, I had an amazing experience at Vance Thompson Vision! I am amazed each day when I wake up with perfect sight! If you are thinking at all having your vision corrected with surgery, I recommend trusting the doctors and staff at Vance Thompson Vision.

This facility, all the people attending to & caring for each of us for treatment deserves many MORE than 5 stars! ⭐ I cannot say enough about EVERYONE, and there were many, who tended to me for cataract/glaucoma surgery. They were professional, but at the same time happy, up-beat, totally made me feel at ease (I was SO nervous)... but it was the BEST experience I have ever had! Excellent doctors and Dr. Debbie is an absolutely fabulous surgeon and a sweetheart! THANK YOU to ALL who I was so very fortunate to interact with!
